Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched 729 development projects totaling Rs 650 crore in Hardoi district, emphasizing the transformative potential of the upcoming PM Mitra Textile Park, located on the district's borders, which he projected will generate substantial employment opportunities for lakhs of young people.

CM Adityanath, during his address, lauded Mallawan's exquisite textile weaving, emphasizing that the forthcoming textile park would provide enhanced opportunities for local artisans. He asserted that this development would reverse the trend of youth migration to places like Punjab and Surat, transforming Hardoi into a destination for employment from other states.

Announced by the Indian government in March 2023, the PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) Parks initiative aims to establish seven textile parks nationwide, with sites designated in Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra.

Furthermore, a sum of Rs 15 crore was distributed under the Rural Livelihood Mission, complementing the support extended to beneficiaries through initiatives like the Khadi and Village Industries Promotion Scheme and other parallel programs.
